Heritage Ranch

Heritage Ranch

Heritage Ranch is the private, gated, residential development on the south shore of Lake Nacimiento. It was formally part of the Heritage Ranch Cattle Company until 1972 when the land was subdivided into housing tracts. Before that it was part of the Mexican Land Grant. Heritage Ranch is a designated wildlife preserve and no hunting is permitted. The community has a dog park, equestrian center, playgrounds, Heritage Park Pool, and basketball and tennis court. There is a marina located at the west end of Heritage Ranch Road and a second marina planned.

The Oak Hill Center is a commercial and retail center, the only shopping venue in Heritage Ranch. Anchored by a grocery store and gas station with self serve carwash and mini-mart, this brand new shopping center opened in May 2010, on the main thoroughfare into Heritage Ranch, G14, which connects with Paso Robles. The Oak Hill Market holds weekly wine tasting, from such prestigious local wineries as Eberle, for $3 which includes hors d’oeuvres from their own kitchen. The center is still in the early stages of attracting businesses into its retail and office space but hopes are that the Oak Hill Center will grow to serve the estimated 250,000 annual Lake Nacimiento visitors. The Oak Hill Center is located at the intersection of Heritage Loop Road and Lake Nacimiento Drive at 2150 Heritage Loop Road, Paso Robles. (805) 238-5253
